Patrick Kenny graduated from the University of Sydney in 2002. In 2003 he completed a rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery at Queensland Veterinary Specialists in Brisbane. Following this he undertook a residency in neurology and neurosurgery at the University of California, Davis. He was admitted to the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine and the European College of Veterinary Neurology in 2007, he also joined the RVC in 2007 where he currently holds the position of Head of Neurology and Neurosurgery.
Emma Scurrell graduated from the University of Pretoria in 2001. She moved to the UK in 2002 and after two years in general practice completed an internship at Davies Veterinary Specialists; she then returned to general practice for a year. Emma subsequently went on to complete a pathology residency at the RVC and became a diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Pathologists in 2008. Emma is co-Director of CytoPath Ltd, a diagnostic laboratory in Herefordshire. She has a special interest in ophthalmic pathology.
